7 teeth

Hudson cut his 7th tooth at 8 1/2 months. We are expecting #8 to come through soon. He is such a tough boy even when he doesn't feel the best!! Just wanted to keep this blog up-to-date on his progress. Love that boy so darn much!

Happy Easter!

Today is Hudson's first Easter. We went to church this morning after a much needed night of rest. Hudson has slept the whole night through both Friday and Saturday night.(930-530 or 600) This morning Hudson woke at 5:20 to eat then went back to sleep in his crib until 8. Hudson did great in church. Mimi, Papa, Auntie, Amanda, Mommy, and Daddy were there with him. We are spending the rest of the day laying around being lazy.

Yesterday, we had a family lunch at my parent's house. We had ham, green bean casserole, rolls, and parmesan potatoes. I made fat lady's dessert. It was all really great. Great Grandpa Brooke even came over to eat and spend time with the family. We sure did miss Gigi at this one.

This is just another one of many firsts for our big boy. I hope each of my family and friends had a great Easter as well.

7.5 hours

That is how many hours Hudson slept on Sunday night before he woke up crying to eat. It was the best night of rest that Jeremy and I have gotten since he was born (or not spending the night with Mimi and Papa). We were so proud of him and hope he keeps it up.

We have 6

We woke up this morning to a very happy baby and while I was changing him into a romper to go to Mimi's house he grabbed my necklace. I took it away and played a game with him for a few minutes. He smiled really big and Jeremy said, "Oh look. He has another tooth". We were pleasantly surprised to see he had cut his 5th tooth. I just casually moved back his lip to look at the other side and there was tooth number 6. So we now have SIX teeth. It's crazy how fast those boogers are coming in.

It's A Boy!

I will be having a nephew in August and couldn't be more excited. Hudson will have a male cousin to play and grow up with which will be so much fun for them.
