Just wanted to update my blog and let everyone know that things are fine around here. Jerm and I have been taking advantage of the nice fall weather and getting outside more to enjoy ourselves.
Tonight we had dinner at Ebbets Field, one of our favorites, outside on their patio. Then we came home and opened up all the windows, took Addie outback to play, and spent time just sitting on our deck enjoying each other's company. We have been taking lots of walks lately...........Addie is a little spoiled. Jerm or I can spell the word W-A-L-K to one another and she goes nuts. You can't tell me that dogs are stupid at least not ours. She knows what we are talking about whether we ask her if she wants to go on a walk or we spell the word out, it's the same reaction either way.
I found out today my possible medical externship site. I am probably going to be placed at Springfield Rehabilitation Center off of Fort Street. I already have a contract with Holland Elementary here in Springfield for my school externship. I am very excited because both of my sites will be less than 2 miles (5 mins) away from our house. That means more sleep for me in the mornings. (As you can see I am not a morning person).
School is school. I am busy right now trying to work on my research project which is a requirement to graduate with your Masters in Speech Pathology. I am not a fan of doing research but all of this will be worth it in the end.
Jerm and I are getting excited for the Cowboys/Rams game coming up in October. We already have tickets and our hotel booked for that weekend in St. Louis. We are also planning a trip to KC to see the Chiefs with Jess and Brandon.
Well I hope everyone is doing well. If you can, get outside and enjoy the nice weather. It really has been beautiful lately in the Ozarks.
