Well it's that time of year where the leaves start to change and fall off the trees and the nights become cooler. I am still trying to convince myself that it is warm outside by wearing my flipflops and capris but sooner or later I will have to get out the long pants and sweaters.
Thursday and Friday of this week are considered fall break for students at MSU. Thursday I spent 9 hours making up hours at work and today I was at the clinic doing some paperwork for 3 hours.....not much of a break is it?
The good news is that Jeremy and I are leaving tomorrow for St. Louis. We are going up to Westport on Saturday and staying a mile from the Westport Plaza. We plan to eat at the Pujous Restaurant and then shop and walk around. Sunday is FOOTBALL SUNDAY. We will be going to the Rams vs. Cowboys game. Jeremy is from Texas so once I started dating him, I also began a Cowboys fan. I love my Chiefs but the Cowboys have a better chance at making it to the Superbowl. We will be in the highest seats possible but we will get to watch his team play.....the last 4 years of our relationship we have made it to at least one Chiefs game a season but never a Cowboys game.
We are planning on staying the night in downtown St. Louis. Our hotel is actually right next to the stadium so that will be nice. More than likely we will go downtown for dinner and drinks.
I am going to enjoy this time off from the everyday routine of work and school. I am looking forward to relaxing with my honey over the next few days and leaving my thoughts of school at home. Addie will be staying with my mom as will Bosco, my sister's dog. She is going to KC for the Chiefs game with her boyfriend for the weekend.
O......... I do love this time of year. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the cooler days and nights. I hope that God continues to bring happiness to each of your lives.
