A trip with friends to the windy city

Well I am leaving Tuesday night for Chicago. A group of nine girlfriends are going to drive to St Louis on Tuesday night and stay with Lyndsay's parents. We are then leaving on a megabus Wednesday for Chicago. We will be staying at the Chicago Hilton on Michigan Avenue. We are going up to Chicago for a conference. It is put on by our professional organization called American Speech-Language Hearing Association(ASHA) for speech pathology and related fields. Undergraduate and graduate students, current professionals, researchers and others are invited to attend the conference. It consists of presentations, poster sessions, and job fairs. We will be attending these events in the mornings Thursday-Saturday. In the evenings we will all be seeing the town, eating at restaurants and bars, going to a comedy club, and shopping....probably window shopping since we will all be poor after this week of festivities. I am looking forward to hanging out with my friends outside of the Professional Building where we have all of our classes and clinicals. I am looking forward to a great experience. I will be returning from Chicago on Sunday around lunch time. Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner as well as my fiances 30th birthday. I am excited for these special times and the break from school. I will update with a blog and pictures when I return from the windy city so check back in for updates. Have a wonderful week.
