I have been back to work since Monday, October 4th. It has been an adjustment for sure. I went from holding, changing, and nursing my son to teaching kids all about communication.
Hudson is being watched by my mom, and I know he is loving every minute of it. He loves his Mimi alot! Jeremy and I feel so blessed that she can be home to watch him for us. It definitely made the transition back to work much easier.
I spent Monday and Tuesday organizing my room, getting paperwork together, tweaking my schedule, and reading over student's IEP's. Today I am back to the grind of seeing students for speech and language therapy.....so far so good. I have met a few of my new students and have enjoyed each of them.
The past nine weeks that I was off with Hudson was so wonderful, and I miss those days already but our boy is doing well and growing quickly, and I am thankful I have a job.
