Big Cousin

Since this blog mostly revolves around Hudson, I figured I would title this post "BIG COUSIN".

Hudson is going to become a big cousin on or around August 18th. Jessica and Brandon are 10 weeks pregnant and couldn't be more excited. I got to be with her when she took the pregnancy test and got to go to her first ultrasound yesterday (thank you snow day) to see that sweet baby. The baby was moving it's arms and the heartbeat looked good and strong.

Jess has been suffering from morning sickness since about the time she found out she was expecting. So far her symptoms are exactly the same as mine. I have already bought her the first doses of B6 vitamin and Unisom to help with the all-day sickness.

Hudson and Baby Penrose will be approximately 13 months apart. They will be very close growing up. If they have a boy, they are set. BUT if they have a girl, we will all get to have our girlie fix buying pink and bows. I believe it is a GIRL. Either way at this point, we are just praying for a healthy baby.

We are thankful for this pregnancy and know that it happened in God's perfect timing. I am looking forward to my sister starting to show, feeling the baby move, and being in the delivery room with her like she was for me. Thank you Jesus for this sweet baby!
