Last Monday night into Tuesday the sleet/ice began and the snow followed shortly after. Grocery stores were packed and shelves cleared out of the essentials. We stocked up and prepared to be at home for a few days.
News channels were right on their predictions and Springfield was pounded. We got 9-10 inches of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. School was cancelled from Tuesday through Friday so I had some time at home with Hudson. It was great to be home with both of my boys on Tuesday and Wednesday. We got another 2 inches on Friday night. We are expected to be getting a little more in the next few days
All I know for sure is that we will never go without an SUV (All-Wheel Drive) again! It has been amazing in the thick snow and slush.
