Hudson had his 6 month checkup and shots yesterday. He weighed 22.3 pounds (95%) and was 27 inches long (60%). Our pediatrician said he is a healthy boy and growing great.
We have been giving him baby food for about a month now but weren't really sure on how much or how often. Our doctor informed us we can give him up to 3 jars of stage 2 fruits and veggies and up to 6 ounces of fluids (water or juice). Hudson's favorite foods at this point are green beans, carrots and peaches. I have been hesitant on fruits because I don't want him to get where that is all he wants. We also tried water last night in a sippy cup for the first time. He didn't really understand how to get the water out of the top since it is different than a nipple. I think it will just take some time.
Hudson is wanting to crawl so bad. He is already becoming so mobile. He can rock back and forth and is turning in a complete circle on all fours. Also if he wants something he will roll until he gets to the location of the desired item. He will be crawling in no time I am sure of it.
He is about to cut his 3rd and 4th tooth. He is drooling like crazy and rubbing every toy he can get into his mouth across his gums.
We are enjoying this age so much. He is so fun and his personality is shining so much! He is beginning to learn to reach for us if he wants to be picked up. He babbles constantly and smiles alot!
His next appointment is at 9 months but no shots....YEAH!!!
