Mother's Day

Yesterday was Mother's Day. My parents came to church with Jessie, Brandon, Jeremy, and I. It was nice to have them in the service with us. After church, we had planned on going to Cheddars for lunch. I called them on our way and they said a table of six would be a two-hour wait. None of us were that set on going to Cheddars, so we decided to pick up Papa Murphy's Pizza and hang out at my parent's house. We gave mom two rose bushes that she is going to put at the lake on the side of the cabin. We also bought her a strawberry cheesecake cake from Coldstone Creamery. It was a nice time as always at my parents just hanging out and watching the Cardinals.

I truly believe I have the best mom in the world. She has always put us first since the day we were born. She is a strength of support and loves us so much. I can't put into words how much she means to me and how lucky I am to have her in my life.

I also got a few soon-to-be Mother's Day cards/gifts. My mom and dad had mailed me a card that I got the day before, and my sister and Brandon gave me a card with chocolate covered strawberries yesterday. Jeremy got me a sweet card and some perfume that I had been wanting. It was a very special day for me! This time next year, we will have a 9 month old crawling around, and it will officially be my "First Mother's Day!!"

To all of the moms out there, I hope you had a wonderful and special day with your family.
