Big baby?

We had another ultrasound today to check Hudson's growth. I have measured ahead most of the pregnancy and my last appointment I measured three weeks ahead. My doctor didn't seem concerned but said it's routine if you measure 3 or more centimeters ahead to go ahead and get an ultrasound to see how big the baby really is. My doctor just keeps saying that Hudson is probably going to be a big baby.

Today at our appointment we got to see his handsome face, his heart beating strong, and his movements. His hands were in front of his face some of the time and we learned he is facing down. His weight was 4.5 pounds which is the 54th percentile- so very average. My fluid was normal and all of his measurements were right on schedule. His head is still measuring a little bit big but this doesn't surprise us because Jeremy had a large head as a child. The tech didn't seem to be concerned about this.

Right after the tech seemed to finish up on her measurements I asked her if she could flip it over to 3D and see if we could get a few pictures of his face. She took two pictures but my placenta and uterus were getting in the way. She said that it's hard to get a very clear/good picture unless his head is right in the fluid and not up against the placenta or uterus.

I will post a picture later from our ultrasound of our baby boy. At this point, I believe my due date will remain the same and we look forward to his arrival at the end of July!!! I have my next doctor's appointment next Thursday where we will go over the ultrasound results. I will update then!
