Sons of Sylvia, Craig Morgan, and Carrie Underwood

We went to the concert of Sons of Sylvia, Craig Morgan, and Carrie Underwood on Tuesday night. I count it as my first REAL concert. I saw Chicago at Hammons when I was little and my dad was working security, but I don't remember much about it due to my age. I have also seen a few people perform at the Ozark Empire Fair that come to Springfield but those shows are just not the magnitude of this concert.

I had never heard of Sons of Sylvia. They played banjos, violins, and guitars but had a more rock sound to them. They were good! I thought Craig Morgan would be ok but he was excellent. I knew almost every song he played and he was quite nice to look at as well! Carrie played around 23 songs and majority were her hits. She changed outfits approximately 6 times and she wore some super cute and tall shoes that had to be very uncomfortable. She didn't dance much but had some cool set changes such as swinging on stage, flying above the crowd from a truck that was suspended, and she played the guitar in two songs and the piano in one. I didn't know she even played any instruments!

The concert started at 7:30 and got over at 11:15. It was a fun but tiring night. I really enjoyed my first experience. Hudson enjoyed it as well as he danced in my belly the whole night!! Next up, Adam Lambert is coming to Hammons Hall!!
